NYC has 520 miles of shoreline and several large inland lakes within its parks, yet almost no-one fishes! New Yorkers visit their parks over 500 million times per year. Fishing presents a massive opportunity to deepen parks engagement, educate about conservation in NYC, and drive revenue via required licenses.
